Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

  •  Answer and support all inbound technical calls/enquiries on Omron industrial automation products.
  •  Assist in answering of all other types of inbound calls (calls include sales, order status etc.)
  • Assess customer’s requirements and recommend goods and services to them
  •  Arrange delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with goods and services purchased and resolve any problems that may arise
  • Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by manager/team leader

 

Requirements/Qualification:

  • Graduate of BS Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer or any relevant field
  • With at least 2 years solid technical support experience
  • Excellent communication skills, especially verbal
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Can quickly adapt to changes
  • Results-driven
  • Works well within a team
  • With background in PLC programming is highly preferred
  •  Proactive and can work independently
